Because of the increasing popularity of Web logs (blogs), and the continuing exposure blogs of all sorts are getting in the media, for this Spring 2005 Newsletter edition I'm going to use the Useful Websites feature to offer a selection of some of the best blogs addressing military/defense strategy, gadgetry, and news coverage.

First, a new feature of Military.com is their DefenseTech blog, originally an independent enterprise which Military.com's executives thought so highly of that they arranged a merger. DefenseTech can be reached easily by a link from the home page at www.military.com. The main focus of DefenseTech is on state of the art technology for homeland defense and warfighting. This one is definitely worth bookmarking! (I admit I may be biased, since I've been interviewed by its Editor a couple of times this year.)

Next, here is a set of highly recommended blogs by top-notch bloggers who follow the military scene closely. Each has its own focus, emphasis, and flavor. I suggest you browse and see what's what for yourself, and decide which of these you might want to visit regularly.
